Heaven's Helpers Youth Cult headquarters

Heaven's Helpers Youth Cult was a youth cult based in Quahog, Rhode Island, headed by an unnamed leader.

History[edit | edit source]

Each member of the group wore a blue tracksuit, and male members were castrated and described as "eunuchs".

Meg Griffin befriended cult member Jennifer, who invited Meg to the mansion where the organization was based. While there, Jennifer made a lethal punch consisting of cyanide, arsenic, rat poison and a copy of Paul Reiser's book Couplehood, intended to be consumed by the group as part of a mass suicide.

After Peter arrived at the group's headquarters and convinced Meg to return home to celebrate Stewie's first birthday, he also allowed the members of the group to join them at the party. Following a toast, the group members consumed the poison and soon collapsed. The group's leader soon returned to discover the deceased members, and, determined not to die alone, grabbed his white ceremonial robe and pursued Peter and Meg. When he arrived at the Griffin family's residence, Stewie murdered the cult leader, having mistaken him for "the man in white".[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Heaven's Helpers Youth Cult is a parody of the Heaven's Gate religious group, founded by Marshall Applewhite, and has many similarities to its real-life counterpart. In 1997, Applewhite and 38 members of the group died in a ritual mass suicide.
