Alan Thicke (born Alan Willis Jeffrey; March 1, 1947 – December 13, 2016) was a Canadian actor, songwriter and television host. With Al Burton, Gloria Loring and Robert Walden, he co-wrote the Diff'rent Strokes theme song, which was covered in the song "T.V. Medley" for the album Family Guy: Live in Vegas. He was married to Loring from 1970 to 1986.
