Buddy Cianci Junior High School is a middle school in Quahog, Rhode Island. It was the former middle school of Chris Griffin for the first four seasons of the show, before his graduated to James Woods Regional High School.

History[edit | edit source]

According to an episode description of "He's Too Sexy for His Fat", Chris was going to skip his gym class and get in trouble with his principal. Said scene seems to be from an earlier version of the episode as not seen in the final episode.

In the outline to "The Father, the Son and the Holy Fonz", Chris' grandfather Francis accompanied him to the school upon being outraged from looking in his grandson's science book and it teaching about Evolution instead of Creationism. Chris presents Francis as a substitute for a report on Evolution, who claims to know actual facts about the Earth. Francis would get into an argument with the science teacher, resulting in him being dragged away by police and Chris being temporarily suspended from school. Later drafts of this scene would change the school to James Woods Regional High School, to fit with the continuity of Chris now being in high school.[1][2]
