"Queer Is Stewie?" (also known as "Queer as Stewie"[1]) is a scrapped episode of Family Guy, planned to be the season finale to the third season, reaching as far as the rough script phase alongside four other episodes made at the same timeframe. However, due to the show's abrupt cancellation in 2001, the episode never went any further.[2] When the show was revived in 2004, while the other four episodes were completed as episodes for the fourth season, this episode was scrapped entirely.

According to the episode's writer Gary Janetti from a QnA, Gary mentioned they scrapped the episode as it would've taken away from the ambiguous gay jokes they played with for Stewie and decided to not go forward with it. Certain parts of the story were refitted for "Stewie B. Goode"

Synopsis[edit | edit source]

After a near-death experience, Stewie comes out of the closet and announces he's a homosexual, facing discrimination from his family, friends and residents of Quahog. Upset, Stewie would go back in time to Bible days to prevent Leviticus 18:22 - a verse of the Holiness Code that says homosexuality is a sin - from being written.
