Ye Old Pube was a bar located in the basement of 31 Spooner Street in Quahog.
History[edit | edit source]
When Peter was under house arrest for punching an unnamed woman at Chris' soccer game, he started a bar in his basement after talking to the ghost of the Pawtucket Patriot. Peter then constructed the bar in the basement, while his wife Lois fully prepared their planned romantic dinner date. Ye Old Pube soon became a drinking spot for men in Quahog. In addition to Chris briefly being a bouncer, several unnamed waitstaff and performers worked at Ye Old Pube.
Lois grew more frustrated when Peter had moved her piano into the basement bar. Instead of further argument ensuing, Peter lied to Lois and said he had moved the piano so she could perform to a live audience. After being encouraged by several patrons, Lois performed "You'll Never Know" to a positive reception. Due to Lois' performances, Ye Old Pube boosted into even more popularity, and further expansions were made to the bar. However, Peter and Quahog housewives became jealous of Lois garnering attention. After Peter discovered their mutual frustration, he allowed the housewives to confront Lois at the bar. That same night, Quagmire improperly disposed his still lit cigarette, which caused a fire to destroy the bar.
During the fire, Stewie completed his time machine and traveled back to shortly before Peter was put under house arrest. There, Peter tripped over and broke Stewie's time machine. Using this an an excuse not to drop Chris off to a soccer match, Peter would avoid putting himself in the situation that caused his house arrest, rendering Ye Old Pube to never exist.[1]
