Cleveland Orenthal Brown Jr. is the biological son of Cleveland and Loretta Brown. Biography[edit | edit source]

Family Guy[edit | edit source]

In the table draft for "Chitty Chitty Death Bang", his father Cleveland mentioned him to his friend Quagmire in a deleted scene, mentioning how Cleveland Jr. once swallowed a quarter, and although it came out later on, he and Loretta decided taking the loss was for the better.

He made his first in-person debut in "Love Thy Trophy". He watched live what was the theme for that year's Harvest Festival Parade with his parents, with him jumping up and down on the armchair, and helped assist in Chris and Kevin in cutting the lumber for the neighborhood float.

He was given his first and only major role (in terms of the original Cleveland Jr. design and personality) in "Fore, Father", where he revealed to have a natural talent and high skill at golf, but due to his hyperactivity never could focus to properly do it. Peter decides to take Cleveland Jr. under his wing and showers him with attention that he abandons Chris. Cleveland Jr. and Peter would then enter a "man-boy" golf tournament to which Cleveland Jr. gets on the verge of winning, until Peter accidentally causes him to lose focus, costing both of them the game.

While Cleveland Jr. didn't appear in "The Cleveland–Loretta Quagmire", an episode focused on his parents divorcing, he was planned to appear in early drafts of the episode. The outline for the episode mentions how he was going to be on Peter's fishing boat alongside his parents, with Loretta originally claiming ownership of him alongside their house. He would then appear as Cleveland was about to kill Quagmire and call out "Daddy, why?", getting Cleveland to realizes who he's become and reel himself in. Cleveland would then gain ownership of Cleveland Jr., which while not seen in the final would be what is used in The Cleveland Show. Early script drafts from later on would have a deleted scene that acknowledged Cleveland Jr., where he stated he take his possible anger out on other women, which everyone laughs at. In the final episode, he only gets briefly mentioned by Peter, and not even by name.

He was seen as a cameo in "The Perfect Castaway" during his father's funeral.

In the "Love Blactually"'s alternate ending, Cleveland Jr. runs up and hugs his father during the cookout to welcome Loretta back to Spooner Street, proclaiming how he missed Cleveland, and also mentioning how he missed Loretta as well. This confused both Cleveland and Loretta, as they thought the other had Cleveland Jr. living with them, only for Cleveland Jr. to reveal he was staying at Herbert's house during their divorce. This was an intended joke about how Cleveland Jr was mysteriously missing during the entire Cleveland and Loretta break up period.

In a deleted scene from "The Man with Two Brians", Cleveland Jr. bothers Brian while he stays with Cleveland, which Cleveland subitizes by making Cleveland Jr. take his Ritalin medication, making him drosy and low energy. Cleveland noting how he has to do that every few hours is what makes Brian leave Cleveland's house. While this scene was deleted, in internal sources reveal that Cleveland Jr. having to take Ritalin resulted in his obesity.

The Cleveland Show[edit | edit source]

In The Cleveland Show's "Pilot", we are reintroduced to Cleveland Jr. and his new personality. With Cleveland and Loretta's divorced finalized, Cleveland gains ownership of Cleveland Jr, while Loretta gains the house.
