John Herbert[1] is a neighbor of the Griffin family on Spooner Street. A U.S. Army Air Force pilot during World War II,[2] Herbert is now a soft-spoken, frail, elderly man usually equipped with a blue bathrobe, slippers and a walking frame. He is also a pedohebephile who is attracted to young boys, in particular Chris Griffin.
