Daniel Edward Aykroyd (born July 1, 1952) is a Canadian actor, comedian, producer, musician and writer. He co-wrote and starred in Ghostbusters. He was also an original member of the Saturday Night Live roster and, along with John Belushi, was one of The Blues Brothers.

He voiced himself in the Family Guy eighth season episode "Spies Reminiscent of Us", a parody of the film Spies Like Us, which featured Aykroyd. Additionally, a real photograph of Aykroyd as Vic Frohmeyer, on the cover of Christmas with the Kranks, was used in the nineteenth season episode "The First No L", although he was uncredited.
