Joshua David Hawley (born December 31, 1979) is an American politician and lawyer who has served as the junior United States senator from Missouri since 2019. A Republican, Hawley was the first senator to announce plans to object to the certification of Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 United States presidential election. He portrayed himself, via archived live-action recording, in the Family Guy twenty-first season episode "The Candidate", although he was uncredited.
