Richard William Wheaton III (born July 29, 1972) is an American actor and writer, best known for portraying Wesley Crusher in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Gordie LaChance in Stand by Me. He voiced himself in the Family Guy seventh season episode "Not All Dogs Go to Heaven" and the anti-abortion activist in the eighth season episode "Partial Terms of Endearment".
